UR.BASM – the first electronic fairytale in Urban shades of culture – Bucharest

So, every now and then you find out about how spectacular Romanian festivals are great for fun and good music, especially when we talk about venues like in Cluj or Sunwaves, in Mamaia.

This November, until December, we capitalize the Romanian way of festival, by moving all the fun in Bucharest, the capital of Romania, with UrBasm <3 #hihi

The savvy guys from Sunrise and the 1st electronic music venue in Bucharest, Kristal Glam Club, go over our expectations and have started the fuss about the newest concept of cultural events and electronic music in Bucharest.

We’re getting into a mix of cultural activities, as well as in urban representations, altogether with good music vibes, selected from jazz, funk, techno, tech-house and Romanian techno highlights.

Personally, I am very excited to have the opportunity to see Moodymann live, one of tINI’s musical inspiration (she is also one of my fav techno artists), or Aquarius Heaven, whom take music and its feeling to a whole different level.

Loco Dice and Gaiser – no surprise for anyone, for sure – when it comes about being familiar with the great music they play and the bomb vibe that they release in drops of high BPM and musical mix. #cantwait #hihi

Mirror States - a new name that has been added to the list – and it’s a duo in a techno figure. They have been conquering Bucharest techno scene since 2 years now, throught the well know event organizer, Main Sounds, but they don’t stop here.

They’ve started a tour in Romania and also participate in their first major festival here. We’re looking forward to dance with you guys!

Mirror States will be in stage line with Ben Klock, another name that doesn’t need introduction, just presence on November 29th, at Kristal Glam Club. #bethereanddance

Heartthrob will be there also on Saturday, together with Gaiser, so...basically...don't miss the whole night, jaja :P Among the after party names, we will have Julian Perez - never heard him live - can't wait for the 1st time! :D

Francesca Lombardo – what a beautiful voice and a mild music – just good to get dreamy in a fairytale festival. Can’t wait to listen to her again. It’s been a while :p

Welcome back, Cassy! I remember her last gig in Bucharest – W I L D and I didn’t want to go home…I’m very “hearing” forward to her. :D

Of course you’ll be trippin’ also with the well-known Romanian DJs like Raresh, Petre Inspirescu, Priku, Cap, Vincentiulian, Livio & Roby and other names that for sure will get your blown off minds…uhm minds blown off, sorry :P in Guesthouse :D

I’m just blah blah here about the music and how exciting it will be, but music is music and it needs to be felt.

This is not a music dedicated festival – this is a cultural move that will imply also street projects around Bucharest – and you’d better book those ones also, as we will be having fun on that side too.

For the DJs whom are training now, and not only, there will be DJ SuperStore providing a music management a production workshop. Check it out here and enjoy! :D

For the digital art lovers, there will also be a digital art workshop, held by the talented Sebastian Luca. or known as BAST. Watch this starting Dec. 1st at FORM Space (Vasile Lascar 173).

You’ll be able to explore the mixture of digital with sculptural at CINETic Center, where you will be part of an immersive experience seen through the eyes of the artist.

For the long board sports lovers – there will be life getting in your boards – the Cazzavillains guys at Bewise are with the Skateboard recycling & reshaping, visual arts, social and urban lifestyle.

Misha Diaconu, a talented artist for design and sculpture,

shall guide you through her outdoor and indoor perceptions – ride with her during the festival and see her work here:

There will be also break-dance contests and social dancing lessons, for the amateurs. Bring only your mood – the festival shall take care of you in the rest ;)
