Stop pushing - act natural :)

So, going through my life, I've set some highlights that need to be considered, in order to have a peaceful living and avoid frustrating or overwhelming situations.

One of the focus points that I have set for my inner peace is that there is no need to rush in order to live your life as your dream. I've been in situations where I've pushed things to happen in the hope that I'll get much more satisfaction rather than to wait and let it flow.

My conclusion? It's like you wanna bake a cake, and you set the temperature to +100 degrees more than it is, just so that you will have it ready before your guests arrive.

But you see...the cake can either go roasted on the outside and jelly on the inside, so the taste won't be the same as you imagined and droll about it, or the cake may be ready and tasty before guests' arrival but....the texture and sight of it doesn't stay the same until you have to actually serve it.

Patience is a high quality virtue in one's life and we all should know how to wait, we all should consider that each thing, project, experience or feel needs to grow as natural as it can, not in high speed.

We already live in a rush, due to 21st century development - why should you speed up your life also?

Consider becoming a multi-tasking individual, as you are also requested to be at work. Instead of rushing things to happen, start preparing yourself for what you are waiting for - develop new ideas, skills and virtues and make room for fresh actions that can be done while your dream comes true.

It may be that you will end up being a Project Manager immediately after graduation, and that's cool enough for a 22 years old...But are you sure you can handle its real weight and responsibilities? Think of that as a situation.

You'll have the theory, but the know-how comes in time - and yours will become stressful as you will not have history in solving situations - and this may conclude in you disliking the job you've dreamed and study about.

I agree that you can learn by what you see and experience, but sometimes it is better to be prepared and action, before jumping into the sea and learn how to swim on the way. You will enjoy it more when results will come as they are, in their time, and not forced.

Accelerating things to happen, might make you loose sight of what is actually happening around you - things that will make you even more prepared to face to real deal at its time :)

So bake the cake while enjoying a good glass of whiskey. Cherries and chocolate will go smoother afterwards ;)
